Livingston Central senior Carson Kitchens has been named to the Class 1A All-State Cross Country Team by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Kitchens owns the school record for 5,000 meters, which he set at the Meet of Champions month in finishing in third place with a 17:04.
Kitchens also won the Fast Cats Invitational in Owensboro and finished third at the Region 1 Meet. He capped his senior season with a ninth-place finish at the Class 1A State Meet in Paris.
He also holds six school records in outdoor distance events.
