Taiveyhon Mason is off to a good start at Campbellsville University, helping lead the Tigers to a 2-1 start on the basketball season.
The Christian County alumnus scored 22 points in Campbellsville’s 71-61 loss to Union College Saturday. He also had four rebounds and four assists.
Mason, who transferred from Highlands Community College, scored 19 points and dished out five assists in his CU debut Nov. 4, an 84-72 in over Kentucky Christian. He followed that up with 15 points in the Tigers’ 77-48 win over Simmons College.
For the season, the CU senior is averaging 18.7 points, three assists, and three rebounds a game.
