McCracken County golfer Madison Glisson has been named a Bluegrass Tour All-Star, a recognition program developed by the Bluegrass Golf Foundation.
Glisson, a 7th grader, finished tenth at the region tournament and tied for 21st at her first state tournament. During the 2020 season, she won the Murray Invitational Tournament and tied for second at the Ballard Memorial Invitational.
Results from events are used to determine Bluegrass Golf All-Stars and Honorable Mentions. A total of 112 boys and girls are recognized as Bluegrass Golf All-Stars with an additional 67 players recognized as Honorable Mentions.
The ranking system combines points earned in the best five (5) high school regular-season events, Regional Tournament, and State Tournament. The points system focuses on complete transparency with at least three All-Stars and two Honorable Mentions from each high school golf region.
Each of the All-Stars will receive a membership with the Bluegrass Golf Tour and an invitation to compete in the Cullan Brown Invitational which helps support the Cullan Brown Memorial West Kentucky Junior Golf Development Fund.
