With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, one area high school has elected to give its fans an online chance to meet the members of this year’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams. The Lyon County Athletic Department announced Friday afternoon that this year’ “Meet the Lyons” event would take place in a virtual manner.
The online “Meet the Lyons” event will feature the Lyons and Lady Lyons basketball teams, as well as the Lyon County Cheerleaders.
The two basketball teams are scheduled to go through some scrimmage action, with the cheerleaders also set to perform during the event, which is set for Saturday evening.
