Madisonville golfer Aaron Munger has been named a Bluegrass Tour All-Star honorable mention, a recognition program developed by the Bluegrass Golf Foundation.
Munger capped a senior golf season with a second-place finish at the region tournament. He tied for sixth place at the Marshall County Invitational and had eighth-place finishes at the Daviess County and Hopkins County Central Invitationals during the year.
Results from events are used to determine Bluegrass Golf All-Stars and Honorable Mentions. A total of 112 boys and girls are recognized as Bluegrass Golf All-Stars with an additional 67 players recognized as Honorable Mentions.
The ranking system combines points earned in the best five (5) high school regular-season events, Regional Tournament, and State Tournament. The points system focuses on complete transparency with at least three All-Stars and two Honorable Mentions from each high school golf region.
