Heritage Christian Academy’s guards did the heavy lifting in the first half, and the inside guys sealed the deal in the second half to lead the Warriors to a 68-51 win at Clarksville Christian Monday.
Carlos Robles scored 15 of his game-high 26 points in the first half, and Matt Wills added six of his 11 points as the Warriors led wire to wire in the game. Robles also had 14 rebounds and four steals in his best game since transferring to HCA last year.
HCA led 15-8 before the Centurions ended the first quarter with a 3-pointer at the horn. The Warriors turned up their defensive pressure in the second quarter to outscore Clarksville Christian 22-6 and build a 37-17 halftime lead.
