Caldwell County’s Kelsie Adams has long been recognized as one of the area’s top defensive soccer players.
Adams will now get to show what she can do on the college level after committing to the women’s soccer program at Campbellsville University Harrodsburg.
Adams was named to the all-district team four ties while at Caldwell and was a rare four-time selection on the all-region squad as well.
As a senior, Adams was named honorable mention all-state by the Kentucky High School Soccer Coaches Association.
Despite playing as a defender, Adams still tallied three goals and four assists during her high school career with the Lady Tigers.
Campbellsville University Harrodsburg is a Division II member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
CU Harrodsburg was established in 2016.
Adams will be joined on the Lady Pioneers by Caldwell teammate Kaylee McEnaney.
An official signing ceremony for the duo is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4, at Caldwell County High School.
