Former Trigg Hurler Hannah Colbert Commits to Northern Kentucky

A former softball standout has announced where she will finish her collegiate softball career. Hannah Colbert announced Friday afternoon via social media post that she would be headed to Northern Kentucky University for her remaining years of eligibility.

Colbert is a sophomore at John A. Logan College. Colbert was able to appear in five games during her freshman season, pitching a total of 9 innings, going 1-0. The fall schedule at John A. Logan was wiped out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The spring season is tentatively scheduled to start February 14.

During her senior season at Trigg County, Colbert was 16-14, with a 1.50 ERA, and 231 strikeouts. Her junior year, she was 17-14 with a 2.53 ERA and set a school record with 307 strikeouts in 201 innings pitched.

As a sophomore, she was 12-12 with a 2.74 ERA and 138 strikeouts.

Northern Kentucky University, competes in the Horizon League.
