
Hopkins County Central quarterback Adrian Stringer has been named the Class 4A District 1 player of the year, while Logan County’s Todd Adler claimed coach of the year honors. Both awards were voted on by the Kentucky Football Coaches Association.
Stringer threw for 1,451 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Storm in 2020. He finished his Hopkins County Central career with a school-record 3,910 yards and 34 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Adler led Logan County to a 5-3 record and a perfect 4-0 mark in district play that garnered the Cougars the regular-season district title.
