Union County has both the district player of the year and the coach of the year for Class 3A District 1 as voted on by the Kentucky Football Coaches Association.
Running back Corithian Seales-Portee was voted district player of the year after rushing for 1,022 yards and 11 touchdowns in eight games for the Braves in 2020. He averaged 127 rushing yards a contest.
On defense, Seales-Portee led Union County with 66 tackles and added seven tackles for loss.
His coach, Derek Johns, was voted district coach of the year after leading the Braves to a 4-4 record, including a 3-0 mark in district play that included a regular season district title.
