Livingston Central senior cross country runner Carson Kitchens was named 1st Team All-Area by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association for all classes.
Kitchens owns the school record for 5,000 meters, which he set at the Meet of Champions with a third-place finish in 17:04.
Kitchens also won the Fast Cats Invitational in Owensboro and finished third at the Region 1 Meet. He capped his senior season with a ninth-place finish at the Class 1A State Meet in Paris. He was also named Class 1A All-Area.
