Crittenden County’s all-time leading tackler has decided on a college home.
Tyler Boone announced on social media Thursday morning that he will play football at Murray State University.
The Crittenden senior noted, “… I am committed to Murray State 110 percent.”
Boone set the school record for career tackles in the Rockets’ 42-13 win over Russellville in the first round of the playoffs. He finished his Crittenden career with 386 stops.
Boone, a linebacker, led the Crittenden defense this season with 117 tackles, helping the Rockets win their fourth-straight district championship and reach the third round of the Class A playoffs.
