
Playing without three starters in the first half of Saturday’s matchup with MICAH Christian School, the Heritage Christian Academy girls’ basketball team needed a spark. Up stepped sophomore Hallie Zieg with 16 points to lead the Lady Warriors, although the effort fell short in a 43-31 loss in the opener of the KCAA Holiday Classic.
Later, Zieg talked about her performance and improvements she’d like to see over the holidays.
