Officials with the Athletic Department at Hopkins Central High School have announced their attendance plans for winter sports at the beginning of the season. Per the decision of the KHSAA Board of Control, winter sports competition is allowed to start on January 4.

Kent Akin, Athletic Director at Hopkins Central, tells YourSportsEdge.Com that they will be following the recommendation of the KHSAA, and allow for a maximum of four ticketed spectators per uniformed player, or other students with an official connection to the team.

Akin adds that those people will have to be on the official list to be allowed to purchase tickets when the season gets underway.
