Officials with Todd County Central High School have announced attendance guidelines for the beginning of basketball season. The season is set to tip off the week of January 4.
Todd County officials state the KHSAA has released attendance guidance for the first two weeks of the upcoming basketball season, and due to the current COVID-19 regulations, basketball games will be conducted with no general admission for contests. Team members will receive a set number of tickets to accommodate parent attendance during this time.
Officials go on to note that the exact KHSAA recommendation was to allow “parents only” to attend the games, with that policy to be reviewed in two-week intervals with a goal of increasing to 15% capacity with in the first month.
According to Todd County Central, when 15% capacity is allowed, passes will be sold for the remaining home games. All those who signed up for passes will remain on the list. Additional pass availability will be announced at a later date.
Team coaches will distribute specific attendance information to their parents and players.
