High school basketball teams cannot have any scrimmages against other teams this season, but the Caldwell County Lady Tigers held an intrasquad scrimmage on Wednesday morning as a way to help prepare for the upcoming campaign.
The scrimmage even included high school referees as Caldwell head coach Chuck Mitchell said he wanted to give his team a feel for a regular-season contest.
Your Sports Edge was at the CAB gym in Princeton for the scrimmage and spoke with Mitchell afterward.
