District champion Union County placed 11 players on the Class 3A All-Western Kentucky Conference football team.
Senior running back Corithian Seales-Portee finished his career with over 3,000 rushing yards after a 2020 campaign that saw him rush for 1,344 yards and 15 touchdowns in 10 games this year. He also led the Braves in tackles from his linebacker position.
Sophomore quarterback Cannon Sheffer threw for 1,309 yards and 10 touchdowns. His top two targets were also named to the All-WKC Team. Kristopher Hughes caught 26 passes for 426 yards and four touchdowns, while Ben Shreve had 28 receptions for 402 yards and two scores. Hughes also had two interceptions on defense.
Two offensive linemen who helped pave the way for the Braves to average 19 rushing yards and 29 points a game were named to the squad for their efforts.
Senior lineman Davis Pike, who was also named to the overall All-WKC Team, and senior Jaden Hancock represented the Braves upfront. Davis was also Union County’s second-leading tackler on defense.
Senior Darius Moore, who led the Braves with 12 tackles for loss, highlighted the defensive players earning All-WKC honors.
Senior Iverson King tied for second on the team with nine tackles for loss and was third on the Braves in total tackles.
Three defensive backs were named to the team – sophomores Kanye Pollard and Brock Cullen and senior Gideon Adams. Pollard and Cullen each had a pair of interceptions, and Adams had nine tackles for loss.
