A former Caldwell County football standout is on the move. Oliver Parker announced on social media on Wednesday that he has “officially entered the transfer portal,” and will be leaving Western Kentucky University.

Parker was a redshirt freshman wide receiver this season for the Hilltoppers. He appeared in one game for Western Kentucky — the regular-season finale at Charlotte — but did not record a reception.

Parker is considering several options as he looks to continue his college football career.

At Caldwell, Parker is fifth on the career receiving yardage list with 1,829 yards. He is 10th on the all-time receptions list with 106.

Parker had 18 touchdown catches with the Tigers.
