Trigg County will look to end several long losing streaks against various opponents when the Lady Wildcats take to the floor in 2021.
The 29-game schedule features no in-season tournaments for the first time since 1986-87. There are 14 home games and 15 road games.
There are four teams appearing on the Lady Wildcat schedule for the first time – Daviess County, Muhlenberg County, McCracken County, and Graves County.
Trigg County’s first district game is January 26 at Crittenden County. That, Trigg’s Jan. 29 game at Lyon County, and the Feb. 2 home game with Livingston Central will count toward seeding for the district tournament in mid-March that will be held at Wildcat Gym.
The schedule is one of the toughest in recent years for the Lady Wildcats. They will play every region team except for Henderson County at least once.
Fort Campbell does not appear on Trigg County’s schedule for the first time since the series began in 1976-77. The DoDEA will not allow Fort Campbell and Fort Knox to play basketball or compete in wrestling this winter due to COVID-19.
Here is a breakdown of Trigg County’s schedule –
