Heritage Christian Academy found the points hard to come by as their opened the 2021 portion of their schedule with a 44-18 loss to South Haven, Tenn. at Warrior Gym.
HCA failed to reach double figures in any quarter, although they were outscored 12-8 in the second quarter. South Haven held a 22-10 lead at halftime and extended it to 36-14 after three quarters.
South Haven shot 23 but hit just seven. Heritage Christian did not attempt a free throw in the contest.
Givonna Gagliano led South Haven with 14 points, while Adrianna Sawyers added 13 points.
Kinley Deason led Heritage Christian Academy with eight points, and Abbi Bullock tossed in six.
Heritage Christian [0-6] will look for both its first win of the season and first KCAA win Friday when they host Oak Ridge Christian.
