Caldwell County wrestler John Paredes, the lone Tiger senior this season, picked up a pair of wins Thursday night in Princeton.
Paredes claimed a 6-1 decision in action against Ohio County and recorded the Tigers’ only win by pin against Union County.
Paredes was a member of the Tiger football team that saw its season end in the first round of the playoffs. He said he doesn’t want to see his wrestling season come to an early end.
