Former Tiger Derrin Boyd had 10 points and five assists on Saturday as his Georgetown Tigers got back on track with a big Mid-South Conference win.
The No. 17 Tigers used a balance attack to claim an 81-58 victory while handing 16th-ranked Martin Methodist College its first loss in conference.
Four Tigers reached double figures, four others were a bucket away.
Boyd, who added three steals, two rebounds and a block, is now averaging 17.5 points a game. That is second on the team.
The Tigers lost 88-48 in their previous game at Thomas More.
Georgetown, now 8-3, plays again Monday, hosting Cumberland University.
