Kourtney Ware put together a pair of big games over the weekend to lead Campbellsville University-Somerset to wins over the Mississippi University for Women.
Ware scored 33 points Saturday to help CU-Somerset win 73-61. The Hopkinsville High product had 10 field goals and was 10-of-13 at the free throw line. He also had seven rebounds and three steals.
On Friday, Ware scored 32 points, including a 13-of-15 slate at the free throw line, to help CU-Somerset to a 90-76 win.
In five games this season, Ware is scoring 27.8 points in 26 minutes per game. He is shooting 58-percent from the field and 43-percent from 3-point range.
