De’Torrion Ware scored a game-high 29 points and added eight rebounds to lead Morgan State to a 92-72 win over Coppin State Saturday.
The Christian County High alum knocked down three 3-pointers and was 8-of-11 at the free throw line. He also had four steals.
It was the second straight huge game for Ware, who transferred to the Virginia school before the season. He scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Morgan State’s 89-85 loss to Norfolk State last Sunday.
Ware is averaging 13.7 points and five rebounds for Morgan State, who is 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the MEAC.
