Another big game for former Caldwell County Tiger Derrin Boyd at Georgetown College.
Boyd had 23 points on Monday afternoon as his Tigers routed Cumberland University 82-52.
Georgetown is now 9-3.
Boyd was 8 of 15 from the field and 4 of 8 on 3-pointers against Cumberland. He made three of his four free throw attempts and had one rebound, one assist and one steal.
Boyd, a redshirt freshman, is averaging 17.9 points a game this season.
The Georgetown Tigers are back in action Thursday at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tenn.
