There will be a few changes in the way this year’s All A Classic is played. Officials with the All A Classic have announced the days and times for this year’s state basketball tournament. The event, which is normally, held this week in McBrayer Arena, was delayed until mid-February due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For girls’ 2nd Region champion Crittenden County, play will begin on the very first day of the tournament. The Lady Rockets will take on 9th Region champion Newport Central Catholic at 6:30pm eastern on Monday, February 15. The winner would wait until Thursday, February 18 to play in the quarterfinal round.
Boys’ 2nd Region champion Lyon County will wait until Wednesday, February 17 to take to the court. The Lyons will take on the champions of Region 7 that afternoon at 4:00pm eastern. The winner would return to action the next day, again at 4:00pm eastern.
In addition to starting on Monday, the championship games have been moves this year. The title games, which have traditionally been played on Sunday, will be played at 10am and 130pm on Sunday afternoon.
