It was a solid way to start the season for a former Hopkinsville Tigers. Jamarion Sharp and his teammates at John A. Logan College finally got to tipoff their basketball season Saturday against Shawnee Community College.
The top ranked Vols rolled to an easy 88-64 win to open their season at 1-0.
Sharp, who has signed to play with Western Kentucky University next season, got the start at center for John A. Logan, finished the season opener with 7 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 blocks.
Logan returns to action Thursday against Three Rivers Community College.
