
It was senior night at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center at Hopkinsville High School on Thursday, with the Tiger swim team hitting the pool along with Christian County and Muhlenberg County.
Senior Ella Falco took home 1st-place finishes in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.87) and the 100-yard freestyle (:59.21). Riley Robinson grabbed a pair of top spots as well, winning the 200-yard IM (2:38.00) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.12).
Grace Cansler was 2nd in the 200 Freestyle (2:31.78) and 3rd in the 100 breastroke (1:26.47), while Ashton Grace was 2nd in both the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly (1:25.59). Caroline Payne took the top spot in the first heat of the 50 freestyle (:32.58) and finished 3rd in the 500 freestyle (7:14.56).
Addison Grise was 2nd in the 500 freestyle (6:36.95) and 6th in the second heat of the 50 freestyle (:31.84), Eliza Renshaw was 4th in the 200 freestyle (2:46.92) and the 100 butterfly (1:38.36), and Livie Jorgensen was 5th in the second heat of the 50 freestyle (:31.69) and 6th in the second heat of the 100 freestyle (1:11.96).
On the boys’ side, seniors Chase Atkins and Ryker Glathar finished 1st (:52.70) and 2nd (:57.38) in the 100 freestyle, while Glathar took 2nd (:25.88) in the 50 freestyle and Atkins swam 2nd (1:10.50) in the 100 breaststroke.
Cam Peacock was 6th (:33.38) in the 50 freestyle and 4th (1:30.77) in the 100 breaststroke.
