Todd County rallied for a 59-55 district win over Franklin-Simpson in overtime Friday. The win was the fourth in ten games this season for the Lady Rebels and surpassed the win total of all of last year.
The Lady Rebels trailed 39-33 after three quarters. Abby Williams scored eight of her 12 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to spur the comeback.
Eighth-grader Alexis Taylor scored 26 points for the Lady Rebels who snapped a four-game losing streak to the Lady Cats.
Franklin-Simpson got 20 points from Kate Norwood and 19 more from Alera Barbee.
Todd County Central improved to 4-6 – one more win than all of last year and the same number as 2018-19.
The Lady Rebels will travel to Edmonson County Tuesday.
