A couple of weeks after announcing his commitment to Kentucky Wesleyan College to play football, Jaquellus Martin has changed his mind and committed to Murray State University.
The Trigg County receiver de-committed from KWC Saturday morning and announced his switch to Murray State Sunday.
Martin led the Trigg receiving corps with 31 catches for 711 yards. His 11 touchdowns are third-most in a season behind Devron Wadlington [2000] and Steve Oliver [1970].
He finished his career with 13 touchdowns which are tied for fifth-most in TCHS history.
Martin set the single-game receiving record with 242 yards against Paducah Tilghman on Nov. 20. His three touchdowns that night are tied for second-most in TCHS history.
