Caldwell County’s 2021 baseball season will begin on Tuesday, March 30, when the Tigers host 7th District foe Hopkins County Central at the VFW Ballpark in Princeton.
The Tigers have a preseason scrimmage set at home on Thursday, March 25, when they host Webster County.
Caldwell was 2nd Region runner-up to Hopkinsville in 2019, going 18-16.
There was no high school season in 2020 because of COVID-19.
Caldwell has 11 home dates scheduled for 2021. That includes a first-round game in the 2nd Region All A Classic on Monday, April 12, against Fort Campbell.
The 7th District tournament is set for the week of May 31 at Madisonville-North Hopkins.
The 2nd Region tourney will be played the following week at University Heights Academy.
Bradley Stallins resigned as Tiger head coach last summer. Replacing him will be the guy he took over from, as former coach Jimmy Dyer returns as Caldwell’s head coach.
