After announcing his college choice back in January, Todd County Central’s Ethan Tomerlin made it official Wednesday. On the first day of the spring national signing period, Tomerlin signed his National Letter of Intent to play college football at Franklin College.

The official signing took place during a ceremony at Todd County Central High School Wednesday evening. Tomerlin played his senior season at Todd County Central after Fort Campbell’s program was shut down for the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tomerlin was the Rebels’ leading tackler in 2020, finishing with 61 tackles, including four tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. On offense, Tomerlin carried the ball 14 times for 73 yards and a touchdown.

In his junior season at Fort Campbell, Tomerlin was among the Falcons’ top players on defense, and the team’s third-leading rusher.

Franklin College is an NCAA Division III school, located in Franklin, Indiana. Franklin is a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
