Collins, Lyon County Remain Ranked Among State’s Top Rebounders

Calista Collins continues to be ranked among the state’s top rebounders according to information released by the KHSAA Wednesday.

The Lyon County senior is averaging 13.7 rebounds a game, which is sixth in the state this week. Shelby County’s Zakiyah Johnson is tops at 15.1 per game.

Livingston Central’s Lauren Wring is 15^th in rebounding at 11.2 rebounds per game.

Other Second Region players ranked in the 25 of stat categories are:

Madisonville’s Kara Franklin is 6^th in field goal percentage (65.4%)

Union County’s Raelle Bevin is 14^th in field goal percentage (62.3%)

Madisonville’s Destiny Whitsell is 17^th in field goal percentage (61.8%)

In team rankings, Lyon County is fourth in the state with 40.8 rebounds per game.

Henderson County is 11^th in team defense, allowing just 37.5 points a game. Trigg County is just outside the top 25 at 27^th at 40.9 points per game.
