De’Torrion Ware scored a game-high 25 points for Morgan State in their 74-69 loss to Norfolk State Saturday.
The Christian County High alum came off the bench to hit 7 of 13 shots from the field and 9 of 10 at the line. He also grabbed six rebounds.
Ware is averaging 15.7 points a game for Morgan State, which is second in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). He is shooting 42-percent from the field, 39-percent from behind the arc, and 84-percent at the free throw line. Ware is also averaging 5.2 rebounds a game.
Two losses to Norfolk State over the weekend dropped the Bears to third place in the MEAC with two regular-season games left.
