The athletic directors of the 4th Region have finalized the format and locations for its boys’ and girls’ region basketball tournaments next month.
The boys’ region tournament will be played first with first-round games set for Sunday, March 21 at 3 pm at the site of the four district winners. They will play a runner-up from another district to be determined by a draw.
The semifinals will be Monday, March 22, and Tuesday, March 23 at 6:00 at with the championship game set for Wednesday, March 24 at 6:00. The semifinals and championship will be played at Western Kentucky University’s Diddle Arena.
The girls’ tournament will begin Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 at the site of the four district winners. The semifinals will be Friday, March 26, and Saturday, March 27 at 6:00. The championship game will be Sunday, March 28 at 2:00. The semifinals and championship game will also be played at Diddle Arena.
As of now, fan capacity will be capped at 15-percent due to COVID-19 guidelines.
