Baseball and softball teams will be allowed to have two preseason scrimmages ahead of the 2021 season with the KHSAA Board of Control voting Wednesday to make no changes to the spring sports calendars.
COVID-19 guidelines established by the KHSAA eliminated preseason scrimmages in the fall sports of volleyball, soccer, and football as well as basketball in the winter. The KHSAA will allow the normal two preseason scrimmages for baseball and softball this spring.
