Alabama senior Kaylee Tow has been named the SEC Softball Player of the Week by the conference.
The Madisonville-North Hopkins alum led the Crimson Tide with a .786 average with 11 hits, nine RBI, and seven runs scored over four wins last week.
Tow had four multi-hit performances, including a season-best three hits Friday against Liberty and back-to-back games against LSU.
Tow was named the MVP of the Easton Bama Bash and scored three times and drove in a career-best five RBIs in Sunday’s 13-5 win over LSU, helping the team to its highest run total in program history against the Tigers.
Alabama is off to an 8-0 start.
