Lyon County freshman guard Travis Perry entered Tuesday’s home game against Crittenden County with 1,998 career points, so it figured to be only a matter of time before he hit the 2,000-point milestone.
Perry was fouled at the 5:07 mark of the first quarter and sank both free throws to reach 2,000.
Perry finished with a game-high 34 points as his Lyons won 86-56.
