Christian County Swimmers Take Third at HHS Quad Meet

Christian County brought home a pair of third-place team finishes Thursday in a four-team quad meet at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.

The Lady Colonels scored 150 points to finish behind Hopkinsville [457] and Madisonville [444].

The Colonel swimmers scored 94 points, which was behind Madisonville [313] and Hopkinsville [203].

GIRLS

Sophi Fowler – 3^rd in the 100-yard backstroke [1:19.39]; 5^th in the 100-yard free [1:04.61]

Reese Dexter – 6^th in the 50-yard free [34.15]; 7^th in the 100-yard free [1:15.50]

Sadie Bahr – 7^th in the 50-yard free [36.29]; 9^th in the 100-yard free {1:23.82]

Dakota Ming – 10^th in the 50-yard free [40.17]; 10^th in the 100-yard free [1:36.48]

The 400-yard free relay team of Sophi Fowler, Dakota Ming, Sadie Bahr, and Reese Dexter finished third in 5:24.11 and finished fifth in the 200-yard free relay in 2:20.60.

BOYS

Shaw Howell – 1^st in the 200-yard free [2:33.88]; 5^th in the 100-yard free [1:11.73]

Dalton Bahr – 3^rd in the 50-yard free [25.30]; 3^rd in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:09.77]

Fernando Montes – 3^rd in the 200-yard free [2:53.63]; 7^th in the 50-yard free [31.67]
