Madisonville Swimmers Score Top-Two Finishes at Hoptown

Madisonville’s boys took first place, and the Lady Maroons finished second in a four-team quad swim meet Thursday at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center at Hopkinsville High.

The boys scored 313 points to finish ahead of Hopkinsville [203], Christian County [94], and Community Christian [40].

The girls scored 444 and were edged by Hopkinsville’s point total of 457.

The 200-yard free relay team of Ethan Clemens, Gavin Bunch, Seth Spencer, and Colton Bunch won with a time of 1:46.19 and won the 400-free relay in 3:55.32.
