
Heritage Christian Academy wrapped up its basketball regular season with a 66-37 loss to Bethel Christian Thursday at Warrior Gym.
Noah Pate and Zeb Bratcher combined to score 43 points with 31 coming in the first half as Bethel built a 35-21 lead.
Weston Powell led the Warriors with 15 points and seven rebounds. Carlos Robles added 10 points, six rebounds, and five steals.
Heritage shot just 28-percent from the field for the game including 2 of 19 behind the arc.
Heritage returns to Bethel Friday to play Academy in the first round of the KCAA Super Region. Due to COVID-19, the normal region tourney process was shuttered for the 2020-21 season, and the KCAA combined regions to create a Super Region to cut down on travel.
Seeding for next week’s KCAA State Tournament will be announced following Super Region play.
