Heritage Christian Academy began the game on a 22-3 run and coasted to a 62-40 win over AIE Friday in the quarterfinals of the KCAA Super Region in Grayson County.
The Warriors will play Bethel Saturday in the semifinals two days after the Flames beat HCA 66-37.
The Warriors got balanced scoring with three players reaching double figures. Matt Wills and Carlos Robles each scored 14 points with Robles adding eight steals.
Weston Powell had a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Trevor Gibson contributed five points and five rebounds.
The Warriors need a win Saturday to avoid an early play-in game next week for the KCAA State Tournament that will culminate next weekend in Nicholasville.
