Caldwell County senior Tripp Branch entered Saturday night’s home game against Dawson Springs needing 20 points to become the 19th Tiger to join the 1,000-points club.
With 16 points in the first half, it was only a matter of time before Branch reached the milestone.
A 3-pointer from the corner early in the third quarter pushed Branch over the mark, giving him 1,002 career points.
Branch went on to finish 8 of 12 from 3-point range and totaled 30 points on the evening.
Branch’s basket that earned him entry into the 1,000-points club at Caldwell County also garnered him this Max’s Moment.
