
Trigg County edged Calloway County by one shot to win the annual Arrowcat Classic archery tournament Saturday.
Audie Smith won by nine shots over Calloway County’s Faith Conway with a season-high score of 294. It was her best score since a 294 at Murray in January 2020 and one point off her personal best.
Kole Stagner shot a 292 to finish second in the male division, four shots behind Logan County’s Isaac Stanley.

In the middle school shoot, Trigg County finished second as a team. Haley Flaherty shot a 281 to finish second, and Mackenzie Cooper shot a 278 to finish third. Junior Knott was the top male shooter for Trigg with a 273, good for fifth place.
The intermediate school took first place. Bailee Brandon shot a 220 to win the female division, and Ethan Vinard shot a 214 to win the male division.
