Caldwell County has qualified six wrestlers for the Kentucky Middle School State Tournament this weekend at Pikeville.
The Tigers placed fourth as a team out of nine squads in the regional wrestling tournament Sunday in Hopkinsville.
Qualifiers for state are Cale Goodwin, who was runner-up in the regional at 121 pounds; Logan Brown, who was second at 98; Aiden Asher, who was runner-up at 240; Donovan Rogers, who placed third at 86; Alex Fox, who was fourth at 115; and Dawson Hoard, who took fourth at 192 pounds.
The state tournament is set for this Saturday.
Caldwell has one other wrestler, Bradley Asher, who will be heading to Pikeville April 10-11 for the 10U state tournament that weekend.
