Hopkinsville picked up some wrestling wins Saturday at the Warren County Duals in Bowling Green.
Hopkinsville beat Apollo 45-30. Wrestlers picking up wins on the mat were Trushawn Matt [fall], Holden Schneider [fall], Christopher Medina [fall], Malakai Graves [fall], Elliott Shull [fall], Joseph Gray [4-3], and Dontre Quarles [fall].
Hoptown beat Owensboro Catholic 60-3. Winners were Trushawn Matt [fall], Christopher Medina [fall], Kevondre Young [fall], Ronald McGee [fall], Jaden Unger [fall], Joseph Gray [fall], and Dontre Quarles [fall].
The Tigers beat Trigg County 48-24 with Trushawn Matt [fall], Christopher Medina [fall], Ronald McGee [15-9], and Elliott Shull [9-2] all picking up wins.
Hopkinsville also wrestled single matches against wrestlers from the new programs at South Warren, Greenwood, Warren East, and Warren Central.
Hoptown wrestled three matches against Greenwood and won all three. The winners were Elliott Shull [fall], Dontre Quarles [fall], and Trushawn Matt [fall].
Against South Warren, Ronald McGee picked up a 16-0 win, while Kevondre Young got a win over Braxton Sawyer of Warren East by fall.
