With leading scorer Tripp Branch out with an ankle injury, Caldwell County knew it had to have other players pick up the slack.
Eighth grader Collin Whittington was one of those players. Whittington not only finished with 15 points, but had a big steal late in the game and made five of six free throws in overtime as the Tigers outlasted Crittenden County 59-53 Tuesday night in Princeton.
YSE spoke with Whittington following the contest.
