Hoptown Swimmers Win Three-Team Home Meet

The Hopkinsville girls’ swim team took first place in five individual events and two relays and won a three-team meet with Fort Campbell and Christian County Thursday at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.

Ella Falco and Elizabeth Langhi both won two individual events and were on both first place relay teams.

Hopkinsville had 399 while Fort Campbell was second with 369 points.

RESULTS

Ella Falco – 1st in the 200-yard free [2:05.68]; 1st in the 100-yard free [59.95]

Elizabeth Langhi – 1st in the 200-yard IM [2:28.29]; 1st in the 100-yard backstroke [1:11.34]

Riley Robinson – 1st in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:1.81]; 2nd in the 200-yard IM [2:38.80]

Livie Jorgensen – 2nd in the 50-yard free [30.10]; 2nd in the 100-yard free [1:09.97]

Addison Grise – 2nd in the 200-yard free [2:28.85]; 2nd in the 500-yard mixed free [6:34.28]

Grace Cansler – 2nd in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:21.66]; 3rd in the 50-yard free [30.99]

Ashton Grace – 2nd in the 100-yard butterfly [1:26.67]; 5th in the 200-yard IM [2:56.16]

Eliza Renshaw – 3rd in the 100-yard butterfly [1:33.40]; 4th in the 500-yard mixed free [7:26.78]

Caroline Payne – 3rd in the 500-yard mixed free [7:16.69]; 4th in the 200-yard free [2:38.52]

Savannah Hutson – 4th in the 100-yard backstroke [1:35.78]; 9th in the 50-yard free [40.78]

 

The 200-yard medley relay team of Elizabeth Langhi, Riley Robinson, Ella Falco, and Livie Jorgensen won with a time of 2:10.03. The same group won the 200-yard free relay in 1:55.66.

The 200-yard free relay team of Grace Cansler, Eliza Renshaw, Caroline Payne, and Addison Grice finished third in 2:10.58.

The team of Grace Cansler, Savannah Hutson, Eliza Renshaw, and Addison Grice finished second in 5:09.96.
