Lady Falcon Swimmers Take Second Place at Hoptown

Fort Campbell finished second to defending girls’ region champion Hopkinsville Thursday in a three-team swim meet Thursday at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center at Hopkinsville High.

Fort Campbell totaled 366 to finish 33 points behind Hopkinsville and 231 points ahead of third place Christian County.

RESULTS

Sunny Joo – 1st in the 100-yard butterfly [1:21.33]; 3rd in the 100-yard backstroke [1:22.79]

Olivia Starz – 3rd in the 200-yard free [2:35.81]; 4th in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:27.10]

Alexsa Hoffman – 3rd in the 200-yard IM [2:46.99]; 3rd in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:27.05]

Samantha Forristal – 3rd in the 100-yard free [1:10.18]; 4th in the 50-yard free [33.74]

Anika Weisbrich – 4th in the 200-yard IM [2:55.18]; 6th in the 100-yard free [1:21.41]

Jinny Joo – 4th in the 100-yard free [1:11.67]; 5th in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:29.77]

Sophie Lacy – 6th in the 50-yard free [34.59]; 7th in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:42.42]

Alyssa Wiser – 8th in the 50-yard free [37.56]

Maranda Rolston – 8th in the 100-yard free [1:34.83]; 10th in the 50-yard free [41.31]

 

The 200-yard medley relay team of Sunny Joo, Olivia Starz, Alexsa Hoffman, and Jinny Joo took second in 2:17.89.

The 200-yard free relay team of Olivia Starz, Anika Weisbrich, Jinny Joo, and Alexsa Hoffman finished second in 2:07.78.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Samantha Forristal, Sophie Lacy, Alyssa Wiser, and Anika Weisbrich was third in 2:45.68.

The 200-yard free relay team of Sophie Lacy, Maranda Rolston, Alyssa Wiser, and Samantha Forristal was fifth in 2:31.56.
