Caldwell County carried a three-game losing skid into Thursday’s game at Hopkinsville and found itself trailing 21-13 at halftime.
However, Caldwell’s girls rallied in the second game to grab the lead, then held on for a 40-38 victory.
Caldwell head coach Chuck Mitchell said afterward that his team was really in need of a win.
